Re-starting our program in El Salvador

Our program in El Salvador got an exiting new venue for our weekly classes It’s the local municipal theater a gorgeous space where our kids get to use for our 2 hour weekly class! But not only that, our education chapter is going to be featured in the cities official cultural offering! The 2020 results of our Colombian chapter and LATAM milestones

On February 6th our LATAM headquarters did their annual meeting to share their achievements of 2020 and some goals for 2021, its the first time that this meeting was done virtually, so it got transmitted live via YouTube, and for the first time we got to see interactions from our teachers from Colombia and El Salvador in an annual meeting and we all can see it. Starting entrepreneurship training in El Salvador

This Saturday, our students in Ahuachapán, El Salvador had a wonderful experience when they met a local young entrepreneur and author Xavier Benavides. This marks the start of our entrepreneurship training on our Ahuachapán program, we are very proud of our head local magician Mario Sierra, who’s done a wonderful job and is constantly looking for new opportunities for our students in El Salvador. We see a bright future ahead for this chapter!

First public performance of our students in El Salvador

Our local Head Magician: Mario Sierra lead his students to do their first public performance with the support of our local partner Centro Juvenil El Salvador-Corea. This presentation counted with the attendance of Abilio Flores the Mayor of Ahuachapán! This is a big milestone for the kids of our program! Congratulations to Mario and his students!

Our central american roadtrip

In July of 2016, Carlos López our LATAM director, went on a four country road trip telling our story all over central américa. Hired by Glasswing International and USAID his non profit The League of Smiles lead a youth forum for 600+ young people in El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras. On the first forum, in El Salvador, Carlos had the opportunity to meet with Maricela and Alexis from our magic club, and they got a change to perform in the forum in front of more than 200 of their peers.
