Our recent trip to El Salvador

We spent four days in Ahuachapan, El Salvador, with our head local Magician: @mariosierra_magicman and our global programs director @carloshlopez . Mario He help us schedule shows for rural public schools, where we performed for over 400 children in the middle of their school day; it was an amazing experience; the kids were amazed and entertained beyond belief. It was the first time most of them had seen a magician live. It was amazing!

We ended the trip with a public performance in the municipal theatre with our students of our local Education Chapter; it was the first public performance for some of our students, led by Mario, and for others was like “almost any other Saturday” because they are used to performing in that theater. Seeing our students perform for a responsive crowd who cheered them on was amazing because they were doing a great job!

This was the first time we visited the Education Chapter started in 2018; it was great seeing the progress of our students and the recognition the program already has in Ahuachapan and the support of local organizations and the municipality. We are in awe of the work that Mario was been doing for all these years.
